Meet the Brazilian Academic Consortium for Integrative Health
We are a network formed by leading researchers in Traditional, Complementary and Integrative Medicine (TCIM). A non-profit social organization with the objective of promoting collaborative research respecting the complexity of human beings.
Mission
The Brazilian Academic Consortium for Integrative Health has the mission of contribution to the promotion of scientific research on integrative and complementary approaches in health through the systematization and production of studies and research, increasing the visibility of scientific knowledge in the area and promoting exchanges and collaborations between researchers, universities and national and international research groups to subsidize the implementation of Traditional, Complementary and Integrative Medicines in an integrated way to the public health system with safety, efficacy, professional qualification, quality of services and products.
Vision
Our vision is to be an institution of excellence and a national voice of the collaborative academic network that contributes to the process of implementing Brazilian public policies in line with WHO guidelines in the area of Traditional, Complementary and Integrative Medicine (TCIM), through strengthening and democratizing access to evidence and gaps in scientific evidence for decision-making.

The current board of directors of the Brazilian Academic Consortium of Integrative Health is made up of physicians and researchers from different areas of knowledge, who work in an integrated manner to promote the broad development of Complementary and Integrative Traditional Medicine.
